Marston (1850-1887), a blind English poet and story writer, is known for his extraordinary gifts of verbal expression and melody which were manifested in poems of remarkable merit. Later in life his verse became increasingly sorrowful and melancholy. He has displayed the aspects of nature, love, beautiful thoughts, and other topics. This work offers poems including "A Vision," "To a Child," and sonnets, such as "Impossible Joy." Poems and ballads include "Just Asleep" and a section on love.
